INDEPENDENT ART PROJECT

THE NAESTVED WALL

2025 // TRAIN STATION NAESTVED - DENMARK

In the summer of 2025, Stohead transformed a 100-meter-long train wash facility at Næstved station into a monumental, self-initiated artwork. Covering a massive 10 × 9 meter concrete facade, this independent project stands as one of the largest surfaces he has ever painted, realized in close cooperation with the Danish State Railways (DSB) and Næstved Kunstby, and curated by legendary urban art artist SWET and CMP ONE.

Stohead delivers his signature style with uncompromising presence: raw, powerful typography and dynamic gestures that flow in waves across the exposed concrete. What once was cold, grey railway infrastructure is now a visual testament to movement, speed, and urban identity. Modulating light, shadow, and speed, the artwork serves as an urban greeting. A visual "welcome" for everyone arriving in Næstved by train.
